The Role

Golden Avenue is seeking a vibrant, detail-oriented Junior Sommelier to join our team.This is a dynamic, hands-on role split across both section waiting and wine-focused service. You will work closely with the Area Sommelier to deliver high-quality wine service, guide pairings, and drive the energy and pace of the floor. This role will be well suited to those who demonstrate:

Skills & Experience

• Previous Sommelier and Section Waiter experience in high-volume, premium dining
• Strong wine knowledge with confidence leading beverage conversations and pairings
• Exceptional guest engagement skills with a vibrant, energetic floor presence
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with sharp attention to detail
• Practical administrative and cellar support skills (ordering, stock, and inventory)
• Confidence supporting and guiding junior floor staff with wine service and general operations
• A genuine passion for hospitality, food, wine, and high-energy venue culture
• WSET qualification is highly regarded
• RSA & Food Safety Certificate required
